Goal

Be the first player to play every card in your hand. Everyone starts with 7 cards (heads-up) or 5 cards (3-4 players), dealt from a standard 52-card deck.

Your turn

• Play a card from your hand that matches the rank or suit of the top discard.
• An eight is wild — play one anytime, then choose the suit everyone must match next.
• No legal play? Tap the stock pile to draw one card. Playable, you may play it right away; not playable, your turn ends.

Running out of cards

If the stock pile empties, everything in the discard pile except the top card is reshuffled into a fresh stock automatically.

Scoring a round

When someone empties their hand, the round ends. If you won, you score the point value of every card left in your opponents' hands: 2-9 = face value, 10/J/Q/K = 10, eight = 50 (they're the riskiest card to be caught holding), Ace = 1.
