Your frog starts on the grass at the bottom of a thirteen-row board and has to reach the green goal strip at the top. Five road lanes come first, each carrying cars at its own speed and direction. Above the middle safe strip are five river lanes with no ground at all, so you ride the drifting logs; open water, or being carried off the side, costs a life just as a car does. You have three lives.
Reaching the goal strip is worth 100 points and is the only thing that scores. Your frog then returns to the bottom for another crossing, with the traffic and logs carrying on from wherever they are. The Best readout keeps the highest total of your session. Lives are never restored, so a session is a run of crossings that ends the third time you are hit or drowned.
The river lanes have no footing. If you are not on a log when the game checks, you drown, so land squarely rather than on the very end of one.
No. Lane speeds are fixed, so difficulty is constant and your score is limited only by how many crossings you survive.
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
