Sixteen cards lie face down, made up of eight emoji pairs shuffled into a fresh order every game. Turn two cards over at a time: if they show the same emoji they stay face up for good, and if they do not they flip back after nine tenths of a second. The board is solved when all eight pairs are found.
There is no point total here. You are measured on two things: Moves, which counts one for every pair of cards you turn over regardless of whether they matched, and Time in seconds. The clock does not start when the board appears but on your first click, so you can study the layout for as long as you like. Matched shows your progress out of 8, and finishing reports both figures together.
One move is one pair of cards turned over. A successful match and a failed guess both add exactly one.
No. The sixteen cards are shuffled each time you press New Game, so a memorised board is no help.
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
