This measures how quickly you respond to a visual signal. Click the panel once to arm a round; it turns red and tells you to wait. After a random delay it turns green and reads CLICK NOW, and the clock starts at that instant. Click again as soon as you see it change and your time in milliseconds is shown.
Your time is the gap between the panel turning green and your click, measured with a high resolution clock. Each result is added to the row of pills, and the three boxes update after every attempt: Best is your fastest, Last is the attempt just made, Avg is the mean of every recorded attempt this session. Times are colour coded, green under 200 ms and red above 400 ms. A false start is not recorded at all, so it cannot hurt your average, but the round is cancelled.
Most people land between 200 and 300 ms with a mouse. Anything under 200 ms is genuinely fast.
No. A click during the red phase is discarded and nothing is added to the results, though you do have to restart the round.
Yes. On a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
