Click to shoot zombies! WASD to move.
How to play
Zombie Shooter is a top-down survival round. You control the blue dot while zombies spawn in a ring outside the visible area and walk straight at you. Move to keep distance and shoot to thin them out. Clearing every zombie on screen advances the wave, which spawns more of them, tougher and faster.
- W A S D or the arrow keys — move at 3 pixels per frame, clamped to the canvas edges. Holding two keys moves you diagonally.
- Move the mouse over the canvas — sets your aim point. Nothing is drawn for it, but the next shot goes there.
- Click on the canvas — fires one bullet from your position toward the aim point.
- Start button — begins a run and resets health, score and wave.
Scoring
Every kill is worth a flat 10 points regardless of wave. Zombie health starts at 2 and rises by one every second wave, so later kills cost more bullets for the same points. A wave spawns 4 plus 3 per wave number, so wave 1 has 7 and wave 5 has 19. You start with 100 HP and lose 1 per frame while a zombie is within 20 pixels, which drains fast if you get surrounded. Clearing a wave restores 20 HP, capped at 100.
Tips
- Keep moving. Contact damage lands every frame you stay in range, so stepping out costs nothing and standing still costs everything.
- Circle rather than back into a corner — zombies come from all directions and a corner removes your escape routes.
- Bullets die at the canvas edge and zombies spawn outside it, so wait for the group to appear before firing.
- Finish the wave rather than kiting it out. The 20 HP for clearing the board is the only healing in the game.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play this on a phone?
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
Do arrow keys work as well as WASD?
Yes. Both sets are handled, so you can move with either hand.
Are zombies worth more in later waves?
No. A kill is always 10 points, so the score reflects total kills rather than difficulty.
