You start as a blue dot in the bottom-left corner of a dark grid, with a green door in the top-right. Between them are red laser beams. Walk to the door without touching one and the level goes up, generating a busier layout at once. The clock keeps running throughout, so this is a race rather than a puzzle to take slowly.
There is no point score. The two figures are the level reached and the elapsed time in tenths of a second, which starts at Start and never resets between levels. Each level generates 3 plus 2 per level beams, so level 1 has 5 and level 4 has 11. Touching a beam costs no life and does not reset the clock — you are simply put back in the starting corner. Only Restart ends a run.
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
You are returned to the starting corner with a message. Nothing else is lost, but the timer keeps running.
No. Levels are generated at random and add two beams each time, so the run continues until you restart.
