How to play
A cannon sits on the left of the field and five coloured targets stand at random heights on the right. You have ten shots to knock all five down. The shell follows a ballistic arc under a gravity of 0.15 per frame, leaves an orange trail, and disappears when it hits the ground or leaves the screen.
- Press and drag on the canvas — a dashed line runs from the cannon to your pointer and the barrel points along it, so the shot goes toward the pointer, not away from it.
- Drag distance — sets power: distance from the cannon divided by 20, capped at 15.
- Release the button — fires. The shot counter drops by one on every release, hit or miss.
- New Game button — resets the score, restores ten shots and places five fresh targets.
Scoring
The five targets are worth 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 points, with the value printed on each block. Colour follows value: red is 10, orange 20, yellow 30, green 40 and cyan 50. Destroyed targets are removed, so a perfect round is 150 points. Your best score for the session is shown in the Best box. When the last shot lands with targets still standing, the game is over.
Tips
- Target positions are randomised, so the 50 point block is not always furthest away. Read the printed numbers first.
- The shell keeps travelling after a hit, so a flat powerful shot through a row can take out two or three targets at once.
- Watch the trail on a miss — it shows exactly where the arc fell short, so a small adjustment usually corrects it.
- Use a steep, high-power arc for targets sitting high up and a shallow one for blocks near ground level.
Frequently asked questions
Can I play this on a phone?
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
Do I aim at the target or pull back like a slingshot?
Aim at it. The barrel follows the pointer directly, and dragging further out adds power.
Can I fire before the previous shell lands?
Yes, but there is only one shell at a time. Firing again replaces it and still costs a shot.
