Card War is the classic high-card game. A 52 card pack is shuffled and split evenly, 26 cards each. On every round both sides turn over their top card and the higher rank takes both. Cards run from 2 up to Ace and suits are irrelevant. The result is decided entirely by the shuffle — there are no decisions, only rounds to play out until a deck runs dry.
There are no points; your score is your card count. Winning a round moves both cards into the winner's deck, shuffled before they go in. If the two cards match in rank the round is a war: three more cards from each side join the pot as face-down mini-cards, and the next Battle flips a fresh pair to decide who takes the lot. A war pot is worth at least eight cards, and consecutive wars stack. The game ends when either deck empties, and whoever holds more cards wins.
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
High. The order runs 2 through 10, then Jack, Queen, King and Ace. Suits have no effect.
No. Each side always plays the card on top of its deck, so the only input is pressing Battle.
