Speed is a real-time race against the CPU. You each hold fifteen cards and two centre piles are turned face up between you. A card can be played on a pile if its rank is one above or one below the top card. There are no turns — both sides play whenever they can, and the first to empty their hand wins.
No points are kept — the counters are how many cards each side still holds, and the winner is whoever reaches zero first. A play is legal when the two ranks are adjacent, and the sequence wraps, so an Ace may go on a King and a King on an Ace. Suits are ignored. The CPU scans its whole hand against both piles once every 1.5 seconds and plays the first legal card it finds, so it never misses a play but never makes two quickly either.
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
No. Clicking a card puts it on the first pile that accepts it, so you only choose the card.
The Flip button reports there are no cards left. The position cannot progress, so start a new game.
