Crazy Eights is a shedding game against the CPU. You each start with seven cards and one card is turned up to start the pile. On your turn you play a card matching the current suit or the rank of the top card, and the first to empty their hand wins. Eights are wild: play one on anything and name the suit that must be followed.
No points are kept. The counters are your hand size, the CPU's hand size and the cards left in the stock. A play is legal when the card's suit equals the suit in force — the top card's suit, or the one you named after an 8 — or when its rank matches the top card. The CPU plays the first legal card it finds, picks a random suit for an 8, and draws one card when it has nothing.
Yes — on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping.
No. You keep the turn and may draw again or play, so it only passes when you play a card.
No. Only eights do anything unusual; twos, Jacks and Queens have no effect in this version.
