How to play
A free drawing surface, 640 by 440 pixels, on a dark indigo background. There is no score and no goal โ pick a tool, pick a colour, draw, and save the result as a PNG when you are done.
- Brush โ hold the mouse button and move to draw a round-capped stroke in the current colour.
- Eraser โ the same stroke, painted in the background colour, so it clears rather than rubs out.
- Fill โ one click floods the connected region under the cursor with the current colour.
- Size slider โ sets stroke width from 2 to 60 pixels, shown next to the slider.
- Colour swatches and colour picker โ click one of the ten preset dots, or open the picker for any other colour. Either one switches you back to the brush.
- Clear โ repaints the whole canvas in the background colour.
- Save โ downloads the canvas as drawing.png.
Scoring
Nothing is scored or timed here, since this is a drawing tool rather than a contest. The only state the page keeps is the current tool, colour and brush size, plus the pixels on the canvas. Note that fill matches colour exactly, so it stops at any pixel that differs even slightly, and the soft edge of a brush stroke often leaves a thin halo behind when you flood next to it.
Tips
- Close a shape completely before using fill. A single-pixel gap in the outline lets the flood escape across the whole canvas.
- The eraser paints the background colour rather than removing pixels, so erasing over a filled area leaves the indigo background, not whatever was underneath.
- There is no undo. Save intermediate versions if you are working on something you care about.
Frequently asked questions
Can I undo a mistake?
No. There is no undo or history, so the options are to paint over it with the eraser or to clear and start again.
Where does the saved file go?
Save exports the canvas as a PNG named drawing.png through your browser's normal download flow.
Can I play this on a phone?
Yes โ on a touch screen the game shows on-screen buttons, and games played with a mouse work by tapping. The canvas handles touch drawing directly, so you can draw with a finger.
