Goal

Collect the most books — all four cards of one rank — by the time the stock and every hand are empty. Everyone starts with 7 cards (2-3 players) or 5 cards (4 players), dealt from a standard 52-card deck; the rest form the stock.

Your turn

• Tap a card in your hand to ask one opponent for every card they hold of that rank. You may only ask for a rank you already hold at least one of.
• They have it: they hand over every matching card and you go again — ask anyone, any rank you still hold.
• They don't: "Go Fish" — you draw one card from the stock. Draw the exact rank you asked for and you still go again; otherwise your turn ends.

Books

The moment you hold all four cards of a rank, it's set aside as a book — instantly, whether it arrived from an opponent or a lucky stock draw.

Running out of cards

If your hand empties mid-round, you draw a fresh card from the stock at the start of your next turn. If the stock is dry too, your turn is skipped.
